Revisiting Sex

Not me, this guy:

W. Jay Wood, a professor of Philosophy from Wheaton College, criticizes a recent book by a philosopher about lust. He shows that this guy's thesises were predicted and responded to by St. Thomas, and he defends St. Augustine's moderate views on sexuality.

I submit to you this book review.

Wow. The reviewer really seemed to know what he was talking about. It was beautiful how he cited so many resources against the author. My philosophy book is written by Blackburn (or whatever his name is) and it is designed for anti-religious teaching. Very interesting review and I thought the writing and direction was very well done.
I recant to a degree my earlier statement that "sex is overated". Sex is awesome!

What is the title of your Philosophy text? I'm curious.

Reading Philosophy. He's actually a co-author.

Some of his books have gotten really good reviews at Amazon. I don't know about on the scholarly journals, and I don't have time to look them up right now.

This book that was interviewed by the guy from Wheaton just sounds like shoddy workmanship. So I wondered if your text-book might have been too.
