Two Songs

I heard two songs on my way to work this morning.

One is the new pop hit that has been getting stuck on my head. I admit that I like it.

If you have Flash and click on this link, you can hear it. It's by Death Cab for Cutie, so Postal Service fans will have an automatic connection.

The other one was one full of power chords about suicide. I forget the name, but it's not interesting enough to post about, anyway.

Oh! But this song is kinda funny, the sort of song Torrey students love to make fun of.

"I know there's something in the wake of your smile
I get a notion from the look in your eyes
We've build (sic) to love then love falls apart
A little piece of heaven turns to dark.

(chorus) [this is the good part :)]
Listen to your heart, when it's calling for you
Listen to your heart, there is nothing else you can do.
I don't know where you're going, and I don't know why.
But listen to your heart before you tell him goodbye.

Sometimes you wonder if this fight is worth while
The precious moments are all lost in the time.
There swept away and nothing is what it seems
The feeling of belonging to your dreams.

(chorus)

And there are voices that want to be heard
So much to mention but you can't find the words
The scent of magic the beauty that's been
When love was wilder than the wind.

(chorus)

Listen to your heart. Mmmmm (I like that part, that parts real good. "mmmm" I feel that right here (in my heart)

I don't know where you're going and I don't why.
But listen to you rheart before you tell him goodbye.

I got this from the actual site of the band: funny that there's punctuation, spelling and grammar errors, huh?
